Classic 16.2 is a style of top-grade integrated tube amplifier with the following highlights:

        At final stage it uses directly heated tubes, 300B as single-end amplification, and 6SN7 in pre-amplification circuit. Without total loop feedback, its transient intermediation distortion is very low.

 

        The transformer of No. 16.2 can be called as “a masterpiece”, designed by the Beijing Yushang. The silicon steel sheets its transformer adopts are high silicon orientation ones with minimum magnetic induction intensity 1.9T. On the aspect of dynamic and static test, special coil structure and method of winding make the transformer exceed some of the most excellent ones existing in current world.

 

        Final stage has an anode current testing system equipped with a Japanese CLASS 1.5 electromagnetic type round meter and a select switch. So it is easy for users to monitor the operating mode in final stage and to adjust BIAS in case of tube re-adjustment or tube change via the build-in potentiometers accessible from the top cover.

 

         Any component and its design show the characteristics of non-compromising  that this top-grade amplifier has. No.16.2 continues to use the creative sandwich structure that designed for No.16.0, with aluminum plate 10mm in thick, which looks dignified, luxurious and rich in connotation.
